Michael is a CU Boulder Computer Science graduate and has been working at Wunderman Thompson for about 2 years. During his time at Wunderman Thompson he has worked on the JetBlue App.
So far Michael has been able to talk to us about what it takes to build a chat based app, things we should consider and given us an idea for a reasonable timeline for making an app of this scope. During our Capstone he has agreed to help us work through any technical difficulties we face and give us feedback on our design and technical approach throughout the project and course of the semester.

Personal Statement
We chose this project because all 4 members are interested in mobile app development and passionate about education. Stride is ensuring that all students have the tools they need to exceed in school and we want to help them continue to grow and help more students. This project is relevant to TAM as it combines UX/UI Design, Development, Programming, and User Research. We arrived at this idea because one of our team members currently works as a mentor at Stride and saw a need for a better form of communication. This project is inspiring because it will make a difference in students’ lives and because none of us have developed a mobile application from start to finish. It will no doubt be challenging, especially with a short, semester-long timeline, but we plan to break it up into smaller, more manageable goals and milestones.
